Robert Jones, is a talented musician and singer emerging as the next generation of dynamic worship leaders. He is the founder and former member of the Stellar Award-winning Gospel ensemble Anointed By God. Jones knows what it’s like to experience the pinnacle of success in the Gospel music industry.
Early Life (Childhood)
His story begins in Tallahassee, Florida, the city of his birth. His mother, a nuclear medicine technologist, and his father, an educator, instilled the values of the church in Robert. Music was a part of his parents’ lives as well and both were members of a band. Influenced by his parents’ musical talents, he was inspired to be a musician as well. His second-grade teacher, who taught piano as a part-time job, decided to teach him after his persistence in asking for lessons. After only three lessons, she knew her new piano student had something special. Soon, Robert began playing for his mother’s home church at the age of eleven.
Education and Professional Life
Robert Jones attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock where he joined the worship team for Chi Alpha campus ministry. As a member of the team, he realized he had been given more than a gift; he had been given a ministry.
“I remember one instance when I was singing a worship song,” he recounts, “and something came over me to speak to the people and pray over the people. I remember leaving the piano and praying for a friend. Later, she told me how the song ministered to her during a challenging time in her life. I said to God that day that if He called me to this ministry I would use my voice and talent to praise Him and change people’s lives with music.”
That calling and passion are clear in this sacred artist’s music ministry. Always one to use his talent for the church, he currently serves as Pianist, Singer, and Worship Leader of The Edge Church in Cabot, Arkansas, where Dr. Dwain Miller is pastor. It’s his way of giving back to the God he loves and his opportunity to usher congregants into the Lord’s presence.
Albums and Tracks
Robert’s single, “I Still Believe,” is the official launch to his music career. Even though the single is the first from his upcoming album, it’s already healing lives. A dear person in Robert’s life heard the song after a grim medical diagnosis. After listening to the song – and weeping due to the impactful message – the person was declared healed in a subsequent doctor’s visit. Co-written by Jones during the pandemic, the track declares peace in the middle of chaos, and clearly, healing in the middle of sickness. Robert wants the listener to know that even when life is turbulent, God is still worthy of our trust. It’s his desire that his songs encourage and inspire others and speak into people’s lives. For this award-winning recording artist and second-grade teacher, his goal is to provide hope.
“When people hear my songs, I want them to be reminded that God is with them,” Robert says. “No matter what happens, God never leaves them. I want them to still believe.”

Robert Jones is a socially active person and is loved by his followers on different social media accounts. Being a new artist who has however gained lots of recognition in the industry, His just launched a new social media account on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, amongst others. It is believed that in a couple of months, his pages would grow so heavily.
